Oh, That Worked Out Well....

Yeah. Good times will be had by all when Gitmo closes. Check this out. Morons. What did they think would happen? Why can't people understand the way to fight people like this is to hurt them until they don't want to fight anymore?

And Mr. Wonderful decided to give his first television interview to an Arab television network.

We're sending a message to the terrorists, all right. It's something along the lines of: "Go ahead and have your way with us." When's he going to just break out the white flag?

I still blame the Republicans. Mostly for putting McCain on the ticket to begin with. Barney Fife would have been a better choice.

Bring on 2012 and Sarah Palin.

I heard something on Homeland Security Inside and Out that was an intriguing idea. It was suggested that these war prisoners be treated using the same laws in place to treat piracy. Detaining prisoners of war indefinitely isn't always going to be practical, so I'm intrigued by the idea of using a well-tested body of laws already designed to deal with combatants not associated with a state.

So what do they do, exactly? I'd agree that something else has to be done, just for practical purposes. I'd love to hear what the piracy laws actually do.

And did you see this from today:

It's only Day 8, and the promised hope is dwindling quickly.

"Hope" = "Socialism", apparently.

I really don't know what else people expected from him or the democrats. At least they act like winners when they get the majority, and ram their legislation down our throats. That's what republicans should have acted like when they were given a clear mandate. I despise the Democractic party and everything they stand for, but at least they know how to make the most of a victory.
